Venus Satanas has been a dedicated practitioner of the Satanic path since 1992. A foundational voice in the modern movement, she began documenting her spiritual evolution in 2004 through her landmark website, SpiritualSatanist.com. Her influence expanded further through her YouTube series, where she has spent years educating the community on the complexities of Satanism, demonology, and Satanic Witchcraft.
In 2018, Venus published "The Spiritual Satanist Prayerbook," a seminal work for those seeking a deeper, more devotional connection to the Satanic path. Her scholarship and insights have earned her recognition within the academic study of Western Esotericism. Her work is cited in several prestigious publications and guidebooks including ‘Satanism: A Social History’, the ‘Alternative Spirituality and Religion Review, ‘The Devil’s Demographics Changes in the Satanic Milieu’, ‘The Cambridge Companion to New Religious Movements’, and more.
That same year, Venus launched Dark Moon Merchant, a premier source for ritual tools crafted within the sanctity of her own ritual space. While the shop saw immense success, it faced a profound challenge in 2022 when the back-to-back destruction of Hurricanes Ian and Nicole forced a temporary closure.
Now, in 2026, Dark Moon Merchant has returned. With a renewed spirit and an unwavering commitment to the Left-Hand Path, Venus continues to serve the community, providing the same high-quality ritual oils, jewelry, and altar decor that have made her a trusted name for over three decades.
